On Sunday 21st April, children from Wolverhampton deanery along with their parents, relatives and others, took part in a silent walk along the disused Smestow Valley railway line. The aim of the day was to encourage the youth of the parish to reflect on post-resurrection scripture, enabling them to explore how key messages related to them. Periods of silence were observed between scripture readings along the route. This was followed by a mass at St. Thomas' conducted by Fr Michael Dolman. The mass featured music performed by the deanery youth band. The event was followed by a shared meal in the Newman Centre, accompanied by further entertainment.
